Active Buyer Searches - What's Hot Right Now
We routinely have potential acquirers approach us to say that they are searching for companies to buy. These buyers tend to be of three general types:
- Individual/partnership investors with financial resources and management experience who do not have a specific industry in mind, but who seek a solid company that will provide growth opportunity.

Mid-size corporate, small business or individual/partnership investors who seek a particular type of acquisition.

Professional investors, such as private equity groups, who are seeking companies to build and grow. Often, they will want to match those companies up to companies in which they already own interest, for purposes of doing business collaboratively or possibly merging operations.
Overall, if your company is financially healthy and operating in a customer market that is not in decline, we can almost certainly find a buyer for it. This is even more likely if the company has untapped growth potential that would not require major outlays of cash to realize it.
A new owner with energy and resources is probably somewhere waiting to find it.
