The Philosophy, Ethics and Business Approach That Govern How We Operate
Guiding Principles
- Deal with sellers and buyers in a forthright manner and with integrity at all times
- Determine the market value of the businesses we represent and strive to achieve that for the seller
- Put buyers into good, long term business opportunities
- Complete transactions that stand the test of time - good for buyer and seller over the long term
Ethics
Our actions are guided by the Code of Ethics of the International Business Brokers Association, and additionally by the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. The International Business Brokers Association ® (IBBA ®) is the largest international non-profit association operating exclusively for the benefit of people and firms engaged in the various aspects of business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions. CFA Institute is the global, not-for-profit association of investment professionals that awards the CFA, or Chartered Financial Analyst designation. The mission of the CFA Institute is to lead the investment profession globally by setting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence.
Business Approach
The Tranzequity approach is to provide added value beyond the baseline expectation of competence as a transaction intermediary. This added value takes several forms, such as providing clients a list of referral resources to ensure that a seller has the resources to meet his or her goals of exiting their business most profitably, and to adequately manage the tax and estate planning aspects of redeploying the gains in a manner that will help to continue growing the resulting wealth.
