Current ABI-Tranzequity deals in process are not listed online, though please check back periodically for other deals which may be posted in the future.  Often, it is not appropriate to list companies available for sale on the Internet, for instance in the following situations:
  • The company for sale is being marketed to specific target buyers, such as selected private equity groups or corporate buyers, and online presence is not expected to yield a pool of qualified or appropriate buyers
  • Extreme confidentiality needs, in unusual cases in which public exposure of even the industry in which the company operates could compromise the confidentiality of the deal

Virtual deal rooms (VDRs), or datasites, are online data rooms accessible via a secure Internet browser. They are designed to improve the security management of confidential documents, while optimizing the due diligence process.  
 
This centralized, electronic library of due diligence information allows tightly controlled release of information and detailed document access tracking.  It is accessible across borders, and allows multiple parties and prospective buyers to participate concurrently in the due diligence process, ultimately accelerating transaction cycles, while improving security. 
 
Few business brokers utilize this technology.
