Between Main Street and Wall Street

Tranzequity Advisors offers business growth and transition solutions to privately-held companies seeking to build shareholder wealth via business sales, mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances or other market value enhancement initiatives.

The Tranzequity practice area within ABI Business Sales, Mergers and Acquisitions, was formed and is operated by ABI Principal Dick Bransford to focus on serving companies in healthcare and/or computer technology markets, clean tech, business services and manufacturing.

Typically, these companies' annual revenue  will range from two and a half to twenty-five million dollars.  Sometimes, in select circumstances, early stage growth companies or buy-side assignments may be a fit.

We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
"It was a pleasure to work with Dick Bransford. He is a true professional with dedication, knowledge and integrity that I have not seen in a long time.  His hard work, along with trusting and caring attitude, made all the difference.  I will work with him for all my future business transactions." - Manocheehr Pouransari, CEO/seller of healthcare company

Growth Advisory Services

It is never too early to begin planning an exit, even if the company is still a start-up.  The business decisions made from that perspective will more effectively meet customer needs, build greater enterprise value over time — and result in owner(s) reaping a greater reward upon exit.

In addition to working as a transaction intermediary, we offer company valuation and exit strategy consulting services to enhance the value of the company and optimize the net proceeds of an eventual sale, considering the business, personal, tax, legal and financial aspects of the process, utilizing a network of specialists, as appropriate.
Similarly, planning an acquisition requires much forethought and integration of the two companies to ensure success.  Successful acquisitions are elusive, and the considerations are complex.
Consulting engagement-driven initiatives such as the following may return company owners many times their modest investment:
  • Strategy development to address the economic downturn in ways that continue to build long term company value, avoiding short term fixes that destroy it

  • Company value enhancement to optimize the ultimate transaction

  • Acquisition planning and execution

  • Turnaround and repositioning to capture untapped market opportunities

  • Branding and market development

  • Development of business processes to build revenue, earnings and long term value
